Things are heating up in Ridgefield!
We have all kinds of FUNdraisers and activities planned so that your community library continues to be the “go to” place for curious, inquisitive, creative people of all ages.
The Friends of the Library is the group that meets once a month to kick around ideas, plan events, and talk “library.”
We changed the time of our meeting from 6:30 PM on the 2nd Wednesday of each month to 1:00 AM on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
Please come and join us. We could all use more friends, right?
We are a warm and cuddly group of book lovers. Really.
The meetings are held at the library. Check out the schedule of events on the right margin of this page to see when the next meeting is coming up.
Hope to see you there!
If you are anything like me, you prefer to leave potentially dangerous cooking up to the experts.
What’s better than a scrumptious, affordable breakfast served to you and your entire family with all of your friends and neighbors around you at the Ridgefield Community Center?
It’s hard to imagine anything better, but let’s sweeten the pot, or plate.
- It’s the first Saturday in March (the 5th) from 8:00-10:30, so this breakfast is perfectly timed to get you up and at it for anything you have planned for Sock Monkey Day (it’s a real holiday, People) or National Maple Syrup Weekend. Coincidence? I think not!
- By having breakfast, you are helping to build a new, bigger, better Ridgefield Community Library! No way! Yes way!
The flyer below has all the details you need to know. Note that the Ridgefield Lion’s Club is sponsoring this fundraiser.
Thank you so much, Lion’s Club!
Hope to see you there. Bring your appetites!
Savor the sweetness of being part of such a worthy cause! Join us and dig in!
