Friends of Ridgefield Community Library (FRCL)
Standards of Conduct
Whenever people gather together to achieve goals, some “rules of conduct” are needed to help everyone volunteer together efficiently and harmoniously. As FRCL, we hold ourselves to a high standard of quality where “Standards of Conduct” are simply to assure that quality is maintained, and then our organization will be a better place to volunteer for everyone.
FRCL asks all volunteers to:
Keep cell phone use to a minimum (for emergencies or to arrange for transportation).
Cooperate with management and your fellow volunteers and maintain a good team attitude.
Help create the healthy, pleasant and safe volunteering conditions that FRCL intends for you.
Help make each volunteering day enjoyable and rewarding.
Dress comfortably and neatly (jeans are allowed); however, no bare shoulders, mid-sections or super short shorts.
Wear shoes that are safe for the projects on which you are working.
Always wear shirts and shoes.
Follow all library policies.
